Infections are the major causes of the precarious status of health in the developing world. Infectious diseases are caused mainly by the lingering existence of two fundamental problems of environmental sanitation, unsafe water supply. To make awareness among society a health check up camp was organized at Br. Nath Pai Central School on the occasion of the anniversary of Br. Nath Pai, renowned leader, great politician and a orator the ‘Gem of Konkan’.

The camp was organized in collaboration with HealAlpha HealthCare, Hyderabad for the students as well as parents complete body checkup.

A team of 6 doctors and 20 technicians which include Dr. Rahul. They conducted the tests, provided consultation for general ailments and prescribed medicines for the same. Its main purpose was to maintain good health in students. ‘Healthy mind lives in healthy body’.

National Unity Day was introduced to intent to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was instrumental in keeping India united.

It will provided an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country. In order to same Br. Nath Pai Central School recently celebrated in collaboration with Kudal Police Station, Sindhudurg ‘National Unity Day’ with great patriotic fervor.

51 institutions and over 3000 students and citizens joined this campaign. Campaign was opened by Hon’ble MLA Deepakbhai Kesarkar. Their presence and guidance given by Mr. Gedam(IPS, SP, Sindhudurg Police), K. ManjuLaxmi (IAS, CEO, Sindhudurg District) and dignitaries.

Rally was lead by Police unit. Br. Nath Pai Central School, Kudal prepared Chitrarath on theme ‘Unity in Diversity’. Also students made posters on ‘Messenger of Peace, Start with Me’ and a special mime act on “United We Stand” was performed.

Rally was commenced on Kudal Police Station ground. It was addressed by Hon’ble Minister Sir. Students given slogans on national unity and integrity.

Inter school Rakhi Making Competition was held for tiny tots at Br. Nath Pai Central School, Kudal The competition was for our Primary section students. They made very beautiful, impressive Rakhi’s from various materials. Few students used flowers too.

It’s reflect their love and respect towards brother and sister relation. It was displayed at the school entrance of the school. All were appreciated their creation. These rakhi’s were tied on Rakshabandhan Day. Chairman of school who believes that celebration of festivals in school is necessary. ‘Due to nuclear families, children today are deprived of true spirit of such festivals. Such celebrations in school teach students about our traditions.’

Rakshabandhan a day marked by usual fervor and gaiety that one associates with his auspicious occasion. To empowers and emboldens us to harness positive energy among students and to give strong message goes out to bring well-intentioned folks together and affect change, Br. Nath Pai Central School visited special children school JEEVDAN, Zarap.

We made our day memorable by celebration Rakshabandhan with those kids. JEEVDAN is a tribute to the deep humanism of our society. We introduced ourselves to the children and arranged a small cultural programme with stories and songs for them. Also our Cub-Bulbul unit visited Kudal Police Station to tie Rakhi to Police Officers. To show respect and gratitude towards their hard work and dedication.

A Rangoli Making Competition was conducted for the students of Classes V to X at Br. NathPai Central School, Kudal
The entire corridor was decked with beautiful, creative designs by the students. The creative expression of art through colours was a feast to the eyes.
Classes VIII, IX and X students were asked to add an elements of traditional symbols in the Rangoli. Students enjoyed a lot in colours in free events.

On the auspicious day of Sarswati pujan, the student and faculty of Br. Nath Pai Central School came together to seek the blessing of the goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture.
The ritual was graced with the presence of Mr. and Mrs. UmeshGalvankar. The Chairman of Br.Nath Pai Shikshan Sanstha, Sindhudurg . Believers as well as non–believers , all come together under one roof to celebrate this festival.

Both the faculty and students joined hands together with great zeal to make the event a memorable one also evolving the blessing of the goddess of knowledge to have a successful academic and carrier growth.

The students offer flower offering at the feet of the goddess for her blessing after the worship, ‘prasad’ is served to all. In the afternoon cultural programme were held. The next day is the day of immersion or ‘visarjan’. In this day image was immersed in the pond. Everybody Starts waiting for the next year Saraswati Pujan.

Teachers Day at Br. Nath Pai Central School , Kudal was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm.The day started with giving a tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radha krishana. The day had an emotional and recreational touch .The students did all the preparations with complete energy and excitement.

Principal of the school urged students to lead a healthy and disciplined life and create a healthy environment.She put more emphasis on moral and ethical values, which she expected the students to follow.She also wanted the teacher to be model for the children.

On this occasion the students gave the greetings cards prepared by them to their teachers. The best part of the programme was the students of Class 8th & 9th enacted their teachers.They had taken actual teaching experiences in class–teaching and also shared their views and experiences about classroom management ,etc.

They took over the academic and administrative working of the school.They felt proud running the school and realized the importance of teacher in their life. In the end Principal, Mrs. Swara Gawde thanked all the students and wished that the students would be great future builders of their Nation.

Sindhudurg Archaeological Department organized historical documents one day exhibition and seminar in Kasal High School, Kasal.

This programme was curriculum linked workshop and exhibition for students to encourages curiosity, creativity and exploration. It was lead by a team of specialist educators.

Such exhibition develops critical thinking, research skills and visual verbal and information literacy. It also supports teachers to develop subject knowledge, reinvigorate classroom practice and rediscover a passion for subject. Hand written documents, 50 fit balance sheet, invitation cards, stamps, various letters by Peshava Bajirao, Shahu Maharaj, British Govt. declarations, etc were displayed in this exhibition.
